On April 14 (local time), as part of her U.S. visit commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Korean War and the 80th anniversary of Liberation, Minister Kang attended a reception for UN veterans at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. She presented gifts of appreciation to the veterans in recognition of their service.
