Minister Kwon Oh-eul of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, who is visiting the United Kingdom to attend the bid presentation for the 2029 Invictus Games, visited the UK Ministry of Defence on June 17 local time and met with the newly appointed Calvin Bailey, UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Veterans and People. During the meeting, they shared views on key veterans affairs issues between the two countries, including appreciation programs for Korean War veterans and rehabilitation policies for wounded service members, and discussed ways to further expand cooperation.
