| Six Martyrs from Gojuri to be Enshrined in National Cemetery After 105 Years | |

• The remains of six members of the Kim Heung-yeol family, who were killed during the Gojuri Uprising in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, will be moved to the National Cemetery.
• The exhumation of their graves will take place on June 7th, with a memorial period from June 8th to 9th, followed by a joint funeral ceremony and enshrinement at the Daejeon National Cemetery on June 10th. • Minister Kang Jung-ai stated, “We will make efforts to ensure the history and spirit of the independence movement are well preserved and passed on to future generations with respect and gratitude for the sacrifice of the Gojuri martyrs.” |
