• MPVA is hosting a revisit event to mark the 73rd anniversary of the Battle of Kapyong, inviting 6 veterans and 15 family members from the Commonwealth nations (United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand).
• The trip from the 21st (Sun) to the 26th (Fri) includes a visit to Panmunjom, a tribute at the UN Memorial Cemetery, ceremonies at the Imjin River and Kapyong battle sites, and a thank-you dinner. • Minister Kang Jung-ai stated, "We will continue to remember and honor the sacrifices and contributions of the heroes from the 22 UN Sending States, including the Commonwealth, by hosting revisit programs and engaging in international exchanges with descendants.” |
