조금 전 한국전참전기념비 제막 행사를 마치고 다시 여러분과 소중한 시간을 함께 하게 됐습니다.
Honourable veterans, bereaved family members and distinguished guests!
This is another opportunity for me to spend precious time with you shortly after the unveiling ceremony of the Melbourne Korean War Memorial.
저는 오늘 기념비 앞에서 참전용사 분들의 희생과 헌신에 보답하기 위해 끊임없이 고민하고 실천하겠다는 다짐을 했습니다.
In front of the Memorial today, I vowed to endlessly seek and practice ways to honour the veterans for their sacrifice and dedication.
특히 내년은 한국전쟁 70주년이 되는 해입니다.
철저히 준비하여 여러분을 비롯한 모든 유엔참전용사 분들께 의미 있는 해가 될 수 있도록 노력하겠습니다.
The coming year of 2020 marks the 70th anniversary of the Korean War.
With through preparations, I will endeavour to make it a meaningful year for all United Nations Korean War veterans, including those of you who are with us today.
비록 짧은 만남이지만, 여러분과의 시간을 마음깊이 간직하면서 앞으로 더 발전적인 보훈협력을 이어나갈 것을 약속드립니다.
Despite a short meeting, I will cherish the time we have spent together and I promise that cooperation in the area of veterans affairs will continue to grow.
이 자리가 여러분께 감사한 마음을 표현하기에는 많이 부족하지만, 작은 성의로 이해해 주시고 편히 즐겨주시길 바랍니다.
